  • 2 large snow crab separate each in four pieces
  • 1 pack boil crab seasoning Florida or Louisiana boil crab seasoning
  • 1 medium onion chop in large chunk
  • 1 stalk scallion
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed

Instructions
 

  • Prepare crab:
    Obtain fresh crab from meat mart or seafood market. Usually crabs are prepared live the same day. Once at home wash thoroughly several times, about 3.
  • Prepare broil:
    To a large pot add enough water to cover crabs and bring to a boil. Add pack of crab seasoning, onion, scallion. The amount of spice depends on how much crab boil seasoning and cayenne are added.
  • Cook crabs:
    Add crab to pot ensure meat is covered by water. Boil for 10 minutes. Sample to see if legs separate easily.
  • Remove crabs and serve with garlic bread and garlic butter.
