Instructions
  1. Shell pods and separate each part containing a seed.
  2. Drop each seed with its covering pulp into sugar and stir then roll into balls. If using pulp or past without seed, drop tsp into sugar, mix and roll into balls.
Recipe Notes

Additionally ginger or small amount of cayenne can be added. Be careful giving young children tamarind balls containing seeds but the seedless preparation would be ideal.
